Mo Salah's unique 'Selfie' celebration

Salah developed a tradition of taking a selfie with a Liverpool teammate who scored during a match and sharing it on social media throughout the 2024-25 campaign. On Sunday, following his fourth goal in the club's 5-1 victory over Tottenham, the Egyptian star sprinted towards the Kop stand and captured a selfie with the fans to commemorate the moment. The fans were thrilled to be part of his selfie.

Salah notched up his 31st goal of the season against Tottenham Hotspur. In the process, he overtook Manchester City's icon Sergio Aguero to become the highest overseas goalscorer in the English top division. Salah now has 185 Premier League goals to his name. Only four English players stand above him in the overall rankings - Alan Shearer, Harry Kane, Wayne Rooney and Andy Cole. With Salah's contract extension for a couple of more years, the Egyptian King will definately be gunning to topple few of the names above him in the list.

The new Premier League champions will next fly to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea next week. The Blues are vying for a Champions League spot next season. Liverpool will look to continue their domination in the English top division.
