It was time for Manchester United to redeem themselves when they faced Southampton in today's Premier League fixture. Marcus Rashford scored a Screamer
In the 45th minute, Marcus Rashford scored an important goal for Manchester United, marking his first goal for the team since March. This goal extended Manchester United's lead at St. Mary's. The match quickly turned in favour of Manchester United, with Rashford's goal coming after a previously saved shot and resulting from a corner.

During the play, Manchester United took a short corner, eventually working the ball to Rashford, who managed to score with a low strike from a difficult angle. It was evident that Southampton's defence was lacking, as Rashford was left unmarked during the play.
Just eight minutes separated Archer's missed opportunity and Rashford's goal, putting United 2-0 ahead. Southampton could have faced an even tougher situation, but Ramsdale bravely blocked De Ligt's attempt from the corner.
This marked Marcus Rashford's first goal for Manchester United since the FA Cup quarter-final victory against Liverpool in March 2024 — a drought of 181 days. It was evident how much the goal meant to him, especially after a challenging start to the season.
