Barcelona's wonderkid Lamine Yamal entertained his fans with a hilarious dance video after the Nations League victory against the Netherlands. Lamine Yamal made significant contributions to his national side as Spain got the better of a persistent Dutch side in the second leg of the UEFA Nations League semifinals. 

The reigning European champions edged past the Netherlands 5-4 in a penalty shootout. Lamine Yamal scored a wonderful goal in extra time to give Spain a lead, however, Xavi Summons scored from the spot to drag the match into penalties.

In an edge-of-the-seat thriller, both La Roja and the Netherlands headed at Mestalla with an aggregate score of 2-2. Mikel Oyarzabal struck twice to give Spain an important lead. However, the Netherlands showed their grit and determination to come back from behind three times and force La Roja into a penalty shootout.

Spain will take on France in the semi-finals of the UEFA Nations League in the next FIFA window in the month of June. Yamal is set to return to his club Barcelona who are vying for a treble this season. Barcelona leads the Laliga standings and is set to take on Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

The 17-year-old Euro Cup winner has represented Spain in 19 fixtures so far. He has netted 4 goals for the national team. Laime is also in contention for the Ballon d'Or this season with 25 goal contributions already to his name this season. He has netted 11 goals and assisted 14 times for Barcelona in 2024-25.
