14-time WWE Champion Randy Orton, aka the Viper, faced off against Carmelo Hayes on this week’s WWE SmackDown. He emerged victorious, executing an incredible RKO that also caught the attention of Lamine Yamal.

The 17-year-old teen footballing sensation Lamine Yamal was present at SmackDown with his FC Barcelona teammates, Héctor Fort and Alejandro Balde. The wunderkind also represented the Spanish national football team and played a vital role in their Euro 2024 campaign.

Lamine Yamal records Randy Orton hitting RKO 

Orton garnered a loud pop from the WWE Universe during the blue brand's show, where he also secured a victory against a former NXT Champion. Lamine Yamal, often referred to as the next 'Messi', was seated in the front row at SmackDown and appeared quite excited following Orton's successful RKO. He was even seen recording the iconic WWE move being hit by one of the biggest wrestling names from the crowd.

The 14-time WWE champion is currently feuding with Kevin Owens since his return at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. It's still to be confirmed whether Orton gets to face Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 41.

The 17-year-old teen football star is enjoying a sensational season so far. His contributions have helped Barcelona lead the Laliga standings and reach the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League. In his last Champions League fixture against Benfica, he became the youngest player to score a goal and record an assist in the same match. Lamine Yamal has recorded 28 goal contributions in 36 appearances for Barcelona this season. He has netted 12 goals and assisted 16 times across club competitions. He will be back in action for Barcelona on 17th March when the Catalans face Atletico Madrid to secure their top spot in Laliga.
