WATCH: Karim Adeyemi scores insane goal from outside the box

To add to Celtic's suffering, Karim Adeyemi scored a 20-yard  stunner towards the bottom corner to finish of his hat-trick in the first half.. He was simply unstoppable in the first half as he was involved in four out of the five goals that Borussia Dortmund scored in the opening 45 minutes at the Signal Iduna Park.

The ball was at the feet of Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel just moments before Karim Adeyemi scored. Guirassy expertly played off his long kick to Brandt, who then placed Adeyemi in on goal. His attempt eluded Schmeichel towards the near post after taking a significant deflection off Trusty.

Borussia Dortmund take unassailable lead against Celtic

Within 30 minutes, Celtic's flawless start to the campaign had taken a turn for the worse. This was Karim Adeyemi's second goal, and it didn't require a deflection. finished fiercely, racing past Schmeichel from the near post at an extremely close angle. Kasper Schmeichel was presumably expecting a cross but however it ended up being a shot.

Karim Adeyemi was fouled, and Borussia Dortmund was given a soft-looking penalty. Emre Can scored the first penalty, putting him on a hat-trick, but Serhou Guirassy was the one to walk up and thump the ball beyond Schmeichel. It's marmalizing the Celtics. This seems to have been a really open game, especially with Borussia Dortmund on the attack. Pascal Gross had a clear opportunity to score, but he attempted and failed to pass the ball to someone else.
