Jude Bellingham gave England a stoppage-time equalizer against Slovakia with an overhead kick during their Sunday round of 16 UEFA Euro 2024 encounter in Germany. Thanks to Harry Kane's header, England led 52 seconds into extra time. Since he entered the game, Toney has had an impact. In addition to setting up the goal for Kane, he just demonstrated his nuisance value by winning a free kick on halfway.
England were behind for 95 minutes of the game against Slovakia after Ivan Schranz scored his third strike of the tournament. Slovakia looked like they would pull the rabbit out of the hat and claim an unlikely victory. Everybody had predicted that Slovakia would be an easy opponent but Gareth Southgate and his men have found it tough so far in Gelsenkirchen. As of now, England leads 2-1 with 10 minutes of the game remaining and they look on course to play Switzerland in the quarter-final stage if they manage to hang onto this.

“I think it will be an easy game” : Jude Bellingham
Jude Bellingham, the midfielder for Real Madrid, issued a warning, citing the exploits of other underdogs in Germany as evidence that smaller countries are not to be taken lightly. After a thrilling conclusion in Group E that saw all four teams end with four points, Slovakia is the team that England are playing on Sunday in Gelsenkirchen. The English team finished first in Group C but struggled in its three dull first-round matches.
Bellingham spoke to Lion Den yesterday as he said, “I think people look at the draw and see Slovakia and think it will be an easy game. It definitely is not the case because they will be a different type of threat and will be difficult to break down,. I think when you play nations who come at you a bit more, it’s a lot more open. I think that you’re always going to have tough games at this point in the tournament,”
