WATCH: Jude Bellingham injures Atalanta goalkeeper during UEFA Super Cup 2024

Jude Bellingham had a nasty collision with Atalanta goalkeeper Juan Musso during the UEFA Super Cup 2024. In an attempt to take the shot, the Englishman injured himself as well as Juan Musso. The referee was quick to award the free-kick to Atalanta along with a yellow card for Jude Bellingham.

The former Borussia Dortmund superstar made a great run into the box and Vinicius Jr. complimented that run with a brilliant pass over the top. The first touch wasn’t great from Bellingham and it made it worse for him as he had to stretch to take the shot and hence he committed the foul.

Kylian Mbappe makes Real Madrid debut against Atalanta in UEFA Super Cup 2024

Coach Carlo Ancelotti has selected Kylian Mbappe to start for Real Madrid against Atalanta during the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday, marking the player's eagerly anticipated debut. After years of attempts by the Spanish champion to sign him, the 25-year-old French sensation eventually signed with Los Blancos this summer, after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired. 

In an attempt to capture the Super Cup for an unprecedented record-tying sixth time, Real Madrid, the UEFA Champions League winners, takes on Atalanta, the winners of the Europa League, in Warsaw. Mbappe leads the attack in Madrid's opening league game of the year alongside Vinicius Junior as well as Rodrygo Goes, with Jude Bellingham, an England international, providing assistance.

Mbappe was not involved in the team's preseason tour of the United States, despite Madrid having announced his arrival in June. The attacker, who only scored once, helped France advance to the UEFA Euro 2024 semifinals.

Before being granted time off, Mbappe was introduced to more than 80,000 supporters at the Santiago Bernabeu within the Spanish city on July 16.
