When it comes to unusual touchline behavior, former Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has created a reputation for himself. On Sunday, he continued this trend.
In an apparent attempt to refute the referee's call, the head coach of Fenerbahce chose to open up his computer and hold it in position in front of the television camera after Edin Dzeko's goal was declared offside during the match. The referee then issued Mourinho a booking, and his team went on to win. As he seems to be aggressive with the authorities in whatever league he manages, he was recently punished for skipping a press conference.

Fenerbahce, with 16 points after seven games, is presently ranked second in the Super Liga. They trail leaders Galatasaray, who are undefeated, by three points. On Thursday, Fenerbahce takes on FC Twente during the UEFA Europa League. Next weekend, they'll play their first local match against Samsunspor as Mourinho looks to add more trophies to his already impressive collection following a successful first season in Turkey.
“In 24 years of football, I never in my life escaped” : Jose Mourinho
After losing a derby to Galatasaray and having to wait for over an hour to be allowed to a press conference, Fenerbahce coach Jose Mourinho claims he was "disrespected." On Saturday, the two titans of Istanbul squared off, with Mourinho's team losing 3-1. Mourinho claims he was "not allowed to go" into the press area to address the media, despite the fact he was fined for missing his post-game press conference.
The former AS Roma manager said, “In 24 years of football, I never in my life escaped from a press conference, especially after a defeat. I [have] never had fear of any journalist, any question or any press conference. So [it] wouldn't be with you (Turkish media) that I was going to change my way of being. The game finished, I congratulated the opposing coach. I went direct to the flash interview and then I was 70 minutes waiting to go to the press conference.”
