Szoboszlai's hilarious reaction to a prank

The Hungarian captain unveiled a life-sized statue that did not resemble him. The statue featured a prominent chin, unusually shaped cheeks, and a large hairstyle, which made it surprising for him.

To add insult to injury, the statue was mainly made of roughly 1200 old mobiles and smartphones. This was done in an attempt to promote the company's electronic waste recycling initiative.

Footage from Telekom’s YouTube channel documented Szoboszlai’s reaction, which shifted quickly from happiness to disappointment. Despite his visible frustration, the Hungarian captain maintained composure and posed for pictures alongside the figure.

Szoboszlai was then introduced to the various merchandise products that featured the distraught face of the statue.

"I don't think this has ever happened before, to do something without asking. This looks nothing like me. It looks like my a** turned inside out.” Szoboszlai said.

The Liverpool star was also informed that the grand version of his statue would be erected in a bustling city centre and then would be floated on the river Danube on the occasion of Hungary's national day on August 20th.

Szoboszlai's reaction drew laughter from every team member who staged this prank.

Dominik Szoboszlai is on the verge of winning his first Premier League title as the Reds remain at the pole position in the standings. Szoboszlai has scored 5 goals and 4 assists in 23 appearances for Liverpool this season.
