The legendary Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo discussed a lot of things in a conversation with Rio Ferdinand through his UR Cristiano YouTube channel. When asked about his ambitions for the upcoming future, Cristiano Ronaldo gave an honest answer and indirectly trolled former legends of the game.

The former Real Madrid winger said that, β€œFor me, the best achievement in football is reaching 900 goals. After that, my next challenge is to score 1,000 goals. All my goals are recorded on video. So if anyone doubts me, I can prove it with the videos. Every goal has a video. I respect all players, but my goals are certified. If you want more proof, I can even show goals from training. So there's no problem. I don't care if people think another player is better. I really don't care at all.”

Ronaldo and Ferdinand also talked about crucial facets of Ronaldo's future and his final season of football. Referencing the forward's UEFA Euro 2024 campaign with Portugal, Ferdinand questioned him about the backlash against him for sobbing following his missed penalty during the Round of 16 match against Slovenia.

The former Manchester United superstar said, β€œIt is much more easy to criticize than to appreciate what you really have. We know how the press works. If you speak good, it doesn't sell. You have to speak bad. It is normal. And if you speak about Cristiano, you're coming in the first page because I am the most followed guy in the world. It's not only because of my pretty face but in everything,"
