Al-Nassr's 1-1 draw on Friday positions them fourth in the Saudi Pro League, a massive 11 points behind the leaders, Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad. They are determined to close the gap in their upcoming match against Al-Khaleej on January 21.
Zlatan's reaction to Ronaldo's statement
At the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, Cristiano Ronaldo drew controversy by asserting that the quality of the Saudi Pro League surpasses that of Ligue 1 in France.
This claim couldn't go unanswered, as former PSG star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has extensive experience in Ligue 1, weighed in with his perspective on the issue.
“There is nothing to answer – you can’t debate something when there is no evidence for one side. PSG is one of the great clubs in Europe in a very good league. Maybe only Spain and England can for sure say they are a superior league. I can’t even reply to a suggestion that the Saudi League is superior – I won’t even waste my time." Zlatan said.
