Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal's iconic footballer, has taken advantage of the Saudi Pro League's (SPL) winter vacation by taking his family to Lapland, Finland. Al-Nassr has had a difficult season, despite Ronaldo's sustained on-field success, scoring 16 goals in 19 games. With former AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli in charge, Al-Nassr is currently in fourth place in the SPL, 11 points behind leaders Al-Ittihad.
Cristiano Ronaldo used the time to spend with his fiancee, Georgina Rodriguez, and their kids when Al-Nassr was on a mid-season vacation until January 9. Finland’s northernmost region, Lapland, is known for its ski resorts, and the spectacular Northern Lights, and is the official home of Santa Claus. On his official social media account, the football player posted a picture of himself celebrating Christmas in Lapland,
The 39-year-old then goes down the ladder with ease and enters the chilly water. Ronaldo has taken ice-cold baths before; on several occasions, he has posted about them on social media in connection with fitness-related activities. After taking a calm plunge in the chilly water, Ronaldo remarks that it's even colder than usual.

Watching the Portuguese legend fight through the cold was Ronaldo's son, who was standing at the side, appropriately warmed to stay warm. It was "very nice," the Al-Nassr star tried to entice him, but Cristiano Junior had no desire to accompany him.
Cristiano Ronaldo and his family seemed to enjoy their vacation
Ronaldo's typical life in Riyadh, where December temperatures hover around 17°C, was a far cry from the trip. Lapland's winter temperatures, on the other hand, can drop as low as -30°C on occasion and vary from -16°C to 3°C. Ronaldo and his family seemed to enjoy their vacation despite the cooler weather, savouring the spirit of the holidays in a wintry paradise. Ronaldo will play again on January 9 when Al Nassr takes on Al-Okhdood in the SPL, following his holiday. For the rest of the season, fans will be watching to see if the break helped him refuel.
