Ange Postecoglou has addressed the speculation surrounding Marcus Rashford’s potential move to Tottenham following the forward’s announcement regarding his intent to leave Manchester United.

Rashford, 27, revealed in an interview with Henry Winter that he is open to pursuing new opportunities away from Old Trafford. As Manchester United begins the search for a potential suitor for the talented player, the prospect of Rashford joining Tottenham adds an intriguing element to the upcoming transfer window.

Ruben Amorim is determined to retain Rashford at the club, yet the academy graduate faces a challenging path ahead. His substantial £325,000-a-week wages present a considerable barrier. However, the Red Devils are likely to lower the transfer fee, making it easier for any interested club to acquire him.

Nonetheless, the Australian downplayed the chances of signing the forward during his media address on Wednesday.

"If I looked at everyone we were linked to, I'd have no time for anything else," Postecoglou said. "I've got other people to do that part of the process. For us, we've been pretty disciplined in terms of what we are trying to do here and we'll continue to be so." Ange said.

"That's not on my radar. You can ask me about Marcus but you can ask me about every Premier League footballer and I'm going to say the same thing." he said.

"[I have] no interest [in what's he said], don't care. He's a Man United player, a very good player. They've got plenty of good players. But I manage my players and I guess other managers will manage their own players. In terms of Marcus' situation, I have got no real desire to examine it any further." Ange added.

Troy Deeney, a former Premier League striker, believes Rashford would be a strong fit for Spurs. However, based on Postecoglou's comments, Rashford must seek out another team willing to take him on. Reports suggest that a move to Saudi Arabia is a viable option.
