Pulisic's attempt to take a corner kick for the Rossoneri went directly into the net, giving them a goal in the first half. Boasting a goal of the season candidate to put AC Milan in front of Club Brugge during their Champions League matchup, U.S. star Christian Pulisic continues to discover new ways to maintain his impressive run of play.
Pulisic lined up at the corner of the field and scored a goal versus Club Brugge on Tuesday afternoon with an in-swinging corner that sailed past the goalkeeper and the defense. The American was surrounded by his fellow players after the goal handed Milan a one-goal in the 34th minute, and the Rossoneri celebrated the incredible goal.
That was Pulisic's second goal across three UCL games this season, demonstrating his excellent play in 2024–25. However, his goal gave the Italian team a total of 10 goal contributions in 11 outings this season across all competitions.
Under manager Paulo Fonseca's direction, the USMNT star has emerged as the center of the team's attack, leading the team in goals and tied for first place in the assists list. In the end, AC Milan added more goals in the second half to complete an easy win over Belgium side Club Brugge. This also turned out to be the first win for the hosts in this season’s UEFA Champions League.
AC Milan’s topsy-turvy UEFA Champions League campaign so far
Christian Pulisic's early goal three minutes into the match was in vain as Ibrahima Konate, Virgil Van Dijk, and Dominik Szoboszlai all scored goals for the Red on the road, as Milan lost their first match of the redesigned UCL against English team Liverpool 1-3.
Milan's luck did not improve in their second appearance in this year's prestigious European event; they went to Bayer Leverkusen and came back empty-handed once more, as Victor Boniface's lone goal gave Xabi Alonso's team all three of the available points.
