Victor Osimhen to depart from Napoli in this summer transfer window
Victor Osimhen is considering a departure from Napoli following a standout loan period at Galatasaray, where he netted 37 goals in 41 appearances. According to a report by Neunzigplus, the Turkish giants and Saudi Pro League champions Al-Hilal are vying for his signature, with Al-Hilal presenting an extraordinary financial offer.
Victor Osimhen has a €75 million release clause in his contract, but Galatasaray is attempting to negotiate it down to €60 million. The Turkish club also has a salary of €15 million earmarked for him. However, SPL club Al-Hilal is prepared to offer nearly three times that amount, presenting an astounding €40 million salary to persuade him to join their squad, which is now managed by Italian Simone Inzaghi.
If Victor Osimhen selects the Saudi Pro League Club Al-Hilal as his next team, he will be the sixth Nigerian player to compete in the Saudi top-tier league, following in the footsteps of his country's legends like Saviour Godwin, Odion Ighalo, William Troost-Ekong, Henry Onyekuru, and Ambrose Ochigbo.
Osimhen's upcoming decision will determine whether he will take part in the FIFA Club World Cup or begin his season in Europe when the campaign starts after the summer transfer window.
