Tottenham Hotspur flop set to be join Italian Giants next season

Italian powerhouses AC Milan are planning to sign Tottenham Hotspur flop in the upcoming summer transfer window as they look to bolster their defence.

In accordance with Gazzetta dello Sport, Tottenham Hotspur have the backing to sanction Emerson Royal's departure. The Brazilian defender has only appeared in a few games for the club this season, and they are trying to cash in on him as AC Milan shows interest.

Emerson signed Tottenham during the summer of 2021 following his time at FC Barcelona was unsuccessful. The Brazilian international played a big role in their first squad until last season, but he has dropped down in the hierarchy under Ange Postecoglou's leadership.

The Australian boss has utilised the right-back across the backline, although he has only made 23 appearances and played fewer than 1,400 minutes. Tottenham are looking to offload him because he is surplus to requirements. Spurs are likely to make huge changes, with several players leaving, including Emerson.

AC Milan are interested in acquiring the Brazilian international on their roster. The Italian heavyweights want to bring in an excellent right-back during the summer who is capable of playing in various defensive positions. The Tottenham defenders definitely meet the criteria and are a high priority for Milan.They've been monitoring him for quite some time and have recently spoken with his representatives. While Milan is interested in signing him and has begun negotiations, they face a significant challenge.

Tottenham Hotspur looking to offload more players during summer transfer window

Radu Dragusin hasn't had the best of times at Tottenham Hotspur. The 22-year-old Romanian defender moved to North London from Genoa in January, however he has yet to make an impact. According to WhoScored, Dragusin completed 19 Serie A matches for the Italian club before joining the Premier League. Since joining the Spurs, he's made only seven appearances, two of which as a starter.

In actuality, he has played only 245 minutes for Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou, with 180 of those minutes coming versus Luton Town and Fulham. Compare that to his Genoa appearances this season, where all but two lasted the complete 90 minutes.
