Kelleher to fill Vicario's void

Spurs are currently navigating a problem with their first-choice goalkeeper, Guglielmo Vicario, sidelined due to an ankle injury. Since his absence, Fraser Forster has stepped in as the starting keeper. This situation could prompt Spurs to consider a transfer for Kelleher.

Despite Alisson's return from injury, Kelleher, the Irish international, has shown impressive form this season but has found himself out of the first team. This presents an opportunity for Spurs to explore a potential acquisition.

Tottenham looks set to sign Kelleher, as they are poised to secure a new goalkeeper next year. Frast Foster, the current main keeper, has failed to deliver consistently strong performances. The club has made it clear that a high-quality goalkeeper will be signed soon to ensure they can compete for major trophies.

This situation presents a webcomb of problems for Liverpool. Kelleher has consistently risen to the occasion in Allison's absence, having given commendable results this season. Although Allison has returned, he has struggled with fitness issues recently, making Kelleher's contributions all the more critical.

“There’s nobody out there at the moment, which is why I disagree; I don’t think there’s a huge rush,” Robinson told Football Insider.

"Kelleher’s time at Liverpool with Marmadashvili coming in—that would be a brilliant option if we were talking in the summer,” he added.
