'Today, it's time for you..' - Neymar's father expresses his excitement ahead of his return

Neymar's father has shared his excitement as the Brazilian star is on the verge of making his comeback following a lengthy recovery from injury. After joining Al-Hilal in 2023 for a substantial fee of approximately €90 million from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Neymar faced many Challenges.

Since undergoing surgery, Neymar has been dedicated to his recovery. He returned to training in July and has now received clearance to return to competitive action.

Neymar's father excited ahead of his return 

Al-Hilal announced on Saturday, October 19, that the Brazilian player will be included in the squad for their upcoming AFC Champions Elite match. They are set to face the United Arab Emirates team, Al Ain, away on Monday, October 21.

While Neymar's participation in the match against Al Ain has not been officially confirmed, his father has expressed optimism about his return, as noted by Fabrizio Romano. "Today it’s time for you to come back, we wait for you on the pitch and your celebration.”

Neymar's problem with ACL

The Brazilian star has faced significant challenges with multiple long-term injuries throughout his career. According to Transfermarkt, he has been sidelined for a total of 378 days due to an ACL injury sustained last October.

During this time, he missed 55 games for Al-Hilal, which has undoubtedly impacted his ability to contribute to the team. Additionally, he was unable to participate in Brazil's 2024 Copa America campaign, where the team reached the quarterfinals. Despite these setbacks, there is hope for his recovery and future impact on the field.
