Barcelona FC's Injury issues continue to rise as their talented 17-year-old prodigy Marc Bernal tore off his ACL in the last minutes of the club's match against Rayo Vallecano, on Tuesday night. Barcelona FC is already plagued by injury woes as most of their first-team picks, like Gavi, Ansu Fati and Arajuo, are out of the team with injuries; the addition of Marc Bernal to this list only adds to the worries of the gaffer Hanse Flick.

Bernal's injury to add to Barcelona's woes
The 17-year-old CDM Marc Bernal appeared efficient in his role of playing single-pivot, playing point-point passes to the forward line, initiating attacks and covering the defensive lines, and putting in important tackles when needed. The teenager's playing style gave many fans, a glimpse of their club's former Iconic CDM Sergio Busquets. Bernal provided the much-needed calmness, balance and order that Barcelona's midfield lacked in its previous seasons.
According to a post on X (formerly Twitter) from CaughtOffside columnist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Bernal has torn the ACL ligament in his knee and is now expected to be out for several months. Bernal limped off the pitch after being on the receiving end of a collision from one of Rayo's forwards.
