Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the subjects discussed when Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa paid a visit to President Donald Trump at the White House. While the two presidents met in 2018, Trump was still in office, the American tycoon inquired about the Portuguese football player.
Based only on his fame, the renowned Portuguese striker would undoubtedly have a solid chance if he decided to enter politics after his playing career. Cristiano Ronaldo achieved a world first by being the first individual to have 500 million followers on Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter). His Forbes profile states that in March 2024, this figure reached 903 million.
