The Globe Soccer Awards 2024 was held on Tuesday as it involves the Arabians in Dubai an annual event held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The annual ceremony attracts worldwide football players, coaches, and celebrities and have been one of the grandest events in world football. The first edition was back in 2010 and was started by Tommaso Bendoni, it was started with three categories, expanding to six in 2011 and to ten by 2012. 

The football individuals and teams receive the awards in recognition of their achievements. The award honorees are chosen through two rounds of voting in which football fans from all around the world take part. During the first stage, the audience chooses the finalists from a list of nominees. In the second stage, the final selection is chosen by both public voting and a jury that includes football experts such as journalists, agents, coaches, and ex-players.

The most awards in the event have been owned by Cristiano Ronaldo, as the Portuguese international has won 6 times and as per the current list Kylian Mbappe has two awards out of one which he won on Tuesday night. As the club season 2023/24 has come to an end and the footballers will be travelling for their international duties ahead of that the Globe Soccer Award was given. Best European Player of the Year: Kylian Mbappe from PSG. 

Best Coach of the Year: Xabi Alonso, who led Bayer Leverkusen to a historic domestic double in an undefeated season.

Best Men's Club of the Year: Manchester City, for winning their fourth consecutive Premier League.

Best Women's Club of the Year: FC Barcelona, recognized for their excellence in women's football.

Top Scorer of the Year: Harry Kane, the prolific striker for Bayern Munich.

Breakthrough of the Year: Atalanta BC, for winning the Europa League.

Emerging Player of the Year: Lamine Yamal from Barcelona.
