After the match between Napoli and Parma where the former claimed a 2-1 win, the incident was reported. It has been just two weeks since the Brazilian was signed by Napoli. Neres' wife took to Instagram and posted a story where she apologized to the fans who were waiting to see the star player outside the stadium.

She claimed that two motorcyclists smashed the car and robbed valuable things from the star player by pointing the gun. "David would like to say sorry to the fans who were waiting outside for him. While trying to leave the stadium after the game, two men on a motorcycle smashed the car and robbed him at gunpoint," wrote David's wife on Instagram. The fans have questioned the security outside the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

David Neres' Rolex watch was stolen

After the Instagram story from Neres' wife, a report emerged on the case. It claimed that the incident indeed took place just a few steps outside the stadium. It added that two people came by bikes and broke the window of the car. The report claimed that the thieves robbed several assets of the Brazilian star player including the costly Rolex watch.

In his stint with Ajax, David was impressive scoring over 35 goals and helping with over 25 assists from 2017 to 2021.
