Saudi Arabia is reportedly making an attractive offer to Mo Salah in hopes of persuading him to leave Liverpool this summer. The proposal includes a mammoth £65 million contract for a two-season stint in the region.

The speculation gained momentum when Turki Alalshikh, a prominent figure in Saudi Arabia known for his role in the country's professional boxing initiatives, shared a photo of Salah in an Al-Hilal shirt. Alalshikh holds a ministerial position in the government's structure and serves as the chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, further fuelling the speculations.

A close ally of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who effectively leads the nation, expressed Al-Hilal’s strong desire to secure Salah before they participated in this summer’s newly expanded FIFA Club World Cup. Acquiring his signing would require endorsement from bin Salman and the Saudi Public Investment Fund, given the financial implications involved.

FIFA officials have granted participating clubs an additional transfer window to secure player signings ahead of the competition set to begin in mid-June, well before the standard contract expiration at the end of that month.

Furthermore, it has come to light that Saudi clubs are prepared to present Salah with an enticing financial package should he decide to sever ties with Liverpool and make the move to the Riyadh-based club.

Salah’s failure to agree on a new deal with Liverpool, coupled with his public remarks about it being his last season at Anfield, has raised significant questions about his intentions to extend his contract.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Salah is having a standout season, with an outstanding tally of 18 goals and 13 assists, leading the Premier League in scoring.

The Egyptian player is a famous figure in global football, and acquiring him would be a milestone for the SPL, highlighting the league's growing financial strength and appeal.

Since joining Liverpool from Roma in 2017, Salah has achieved an impressive record, netting 232 goals and providing 105 assists in 378 appearances.
