PSG faces challenges for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from two Premier League powerhouses

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a winger for Napoli, has been linked to both Liverpool and Chelsea as a target in the transfer window. He managed to establish himself as one of Europe's most dominating strikers since joining Napoli from Rubin Kazan in 2022. He has a contract with Napoli that expires in June 2027, but because there have been no new or renewed agreements, he might be considering going to Liverpool.

Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly considering a move worth over 80 million euros, while Napoli is reportedly willing to let go of Kvaratskhelia this month as talks over a new contract have become stagnant. Liverpool anticipates using the January Transfer Window to make some significant roster changes. Since it has been revealed that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will be leaving Napoli this month, the squad is now eager to sign him.

In the meantime, it was recently reported that Manchester United and Napoli were contemplating a swap deal that would send Marcus Rashford to Italy in return. Chelsea joins the race for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Although, it is believed that neither Liverpool nor Chelsea are actively seeking a winger, club officials are now debating whether to take action as the chance to sign a long-term transfer target has presented itself. Kvaratskhelia's appeal is mostly due to Napoli's affordable asking price. For a 23-year-old who was crowned Serie A's Player of the Season when Napoli won the title in 2022–2023, 80 million euros is undoubtedly a substantial amount, but it also offers excellent value. Aside from Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei, Antonio Conte's team is also reportedly interested in Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa as a possible replacement for Kvaratskhelia.
