The club and its players would like to win the Premier League this season for their head coach Jürgen Klopp, who has already announced his departure from the club after the ongoing season.

The German had a stellar career with the club for 9 years, he brought back the glory days for the side winning one UEFA Champions League, Premier League and many more trophies with the club. However, after a poor last season, they are currently competing in the Europa League and have the chance of becoming the champions as well. Under Klopp, several young players got trained and made a name for themselves in England.

The Reds management has already found a replacement for the 56-year-old. Sporting Lisbon coach Ruben Amorim is their main target and as per the latest developments Amorim has reached a verbal agreement in principle with Liverpool, according to Sky Germany. The 39-year-old coach has gained a lot of success in Portugal and was in favour of FC Barcelona, but the Reds were leading the race.

Amorim to Liverpool confirmed?

As per the rumours, he has discussed a three-year contract to become Klopp's successor. However, a deal is still to be finalised between the two managements. Amorim is a similar kind of coach who has the same tactics as Klopp and his fierce commitment as a player, and his personality also suits the club. He has a release clause of €20 million but clubs outside Portugal can get him paying €15 million as well.

Amorim in his short career has impressive records in over 200 matches he averages 2.24 points per game which is quite remarkable for a young coach like him. Previously he dropped a comment on whether he will stay in Portugal or not. The head coach said he could not guarantee as there is a lot of time to have a conversation about the same.
