Concerns are mounting over Jude Bellingham as well as Dani Carvajal's availability for Real Madrid's forthcoming encounter against Alaves, according to a recent report (via Madrid Xtra). Bellingham has been doubtful about participating because he is now having shoulder pain. Tomorrow, a decision will be made about his eligibility to participate.

Tensions surrounding both players increased during the most recent clash against Espanyol, which Real Madrid won 4-1. Shortly after netting the equaliser, Carvajal asked to be substituted, which alarmed the supporters. Carlo Ancelotti acknowledged that he took a blow to the right thigh however fortunately did not receive any significant injuries.

The coaching staff and the medical staff are scheduled to meet tomorrow to decide whether or not to give him a rest before Tuesday's match against Alaves. Similar to Carvajal, Bellingham is receiving treatment for a shoulder problem, and tomorrow, his playing status will be assessed.

According to reports, neither player may start the match versus Alaves because of the impending rivalry between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid the following weekend. The coaching staff will have an additional challenge in determining how important it is for their star players to be fit for both matches. Bellingham and Carvajal's choice to take a break could have been made purposefully considering the derby in mind, to make sure they are fresh for the more competitive match.

Fabrizio Romano confirms Real Madrid’s interest in Alphonso Davies

According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid is still very interested in acquiring Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies. Romano clarified that if Davies hasn't signed a new contract with Bayern by January, Los Blancos will move forward with their efforts to recruit him. As a result, they have set a deadline for talks over his departure.

However, Fabrizio Romano has also stated that Madrid can only finish this transfer on their terms, meaning that the 23-year-old may no longer be viewed as an urgent priority given that they recently signed a new contract with left-back Ferland Mendy.
