In the recent line of developments, the two-time Euro Cup champions France have announced their squad for the upcoming Euro Cup 2024. Didier Deschamps came up with the highly anticipated French squad for the prestigious European football quadrennial starting next month in Germany.

The Les Blues had an amazing run of form at the FIFA World Cup 2022, where they finished as the runners-up after playing one of the most historic and iconic World Cup finals of all time. However, as per the experts, the French are looking stronger even than the squad they played with in the 2022 World Cup.

Didier Deschamps’ men made it to the Euros without having any defeat on their name before losing two friendlies against Germany. The star PSG forward Kylian Mbappe is all set to lead the Les Blues in the highly anticipated Euro 2024.

Meanwhile, Deschamps has also called back the star midfielder and the World Champion N’Golo Kante in a surprising move for the fans. Kante moved to Saudi Club Al Ittihad last year after leaving the English club Chelsea.

“He played a full season (Kante struggled with injury during his time with Chelsea), albeit not in a European league, as he is in Saudi Arabia,” said Deschamps on channel TF1 while speaking about the French Squad for Euro 2024.

“He's back to full fitness. With his experience, I'm convinced that the French team will be stronger with N'Golo Kante,” he added later.

Here’s a look at the 26-men squad of France for Euro 2024:

Goalkeepers – Alphonse Areola (West Ham), Mike Maignan (AC Milam), and Brice Samba (Lens).

Defenders – Jonathan Clauss (Marseille), Theo Hernandez (AC Milan), Ibrahima Konate (Liverpool), Jules Kounde (Barcelona), Ferland Mendy (Real Madrid), Benjamin Pevard (Inter), William Saliba (Arsenal), and Dayot Upamecano (Bayern Munich).
