Real Madrid's youngster prosecuted:
Marca has reported that a court in Gran Canaria has formally charged Asencio and his former teammates from the Madrid academy—Andres García, Ferran Ruiz, and Juan Rodriguez—for allegedly recording se*ual images of two women, one of whom was a minor, and distributing those images without their consent in June 2023.
The report states that the presiding judge has directed the formal initiation of criminal proceedings against Asencio, 22, and his former teammates, setting the stage for the prosecutor's office to file charges and request the commencement of a trial in 2023. Notably, the four individuals were arrested in September 2023, and their mobile phones were confiscated by the police.
Asencio has been accused of committing the crimes of violating one's privacy and sharing their personal videos with third parties without the consent of the victims. He has also been charged with the offences of using minors to make pornographic content and possessing child po*nography.
The judgment is yet to be passed on the aforementioned case. Raul Asencio was part of the playing 11 that defeated Mallorca at Santiago Bernabeu. Raul Ascencio joined Real Madrid last year in 2024. He has since represented Los Blancos in 22 fixtures across club competitions.
