Ralf Rangnick denies to become Bayern Munich coach next season despite strong rumours

The 65-year-old will be leading the national side in the upcoming Euros 2024 that is scheduled to take place in Germany. However, Bayern's management will need to take a look at the possible coaches.

Bayern Munich, who are currently competing in the UEFA Champions League semi-final, has already lost the Bundesliga as their 11-year streak of winning the league has ended. They are out of the DFB Pokal as well with the side only competing for UCL and their head coach Thomas Tuchel has been criticised over the team's domestic failure in the current season. The German coach has been under fire and might be replaced after the end of the season. 

Ralf Rangnick, who was linked up with the Bavarians to become the new coach of the German giants. Rangnick, the interim coach of Manchester United was leading the race to become the successor of Tuchel. The German has denied it after agreeing to a verbal contract with the side as he has decided to stay in the managerial role of Austria. Austria management has been successful in keeping the coach. 

The 65-year-old will be leading the national side in the upcoming Euros 2024 that is scheduled to take place in Germany. However,  Bayern's management will need to take a look at the possible coaches available in the market for the next season. Previously, Xabi Alonso of Bayer Leverkusen and Germany boss Julian Nagelsmann already have turned down offers from Munich.

Bayern and Tuchel announced in February that he would be leaving the club at the end of the season. Rangnick said in a statement on Thursday, "I am the Austrian team boss with all my heart. I enjoy this task and am determined to continue on our chosen path. Our full concentration is on the European Championships. We will do everything we can to get as far as possible."

Bayern will look to qualify for the final after a 2-2 draw against Real Madrid at the Allianz Arena as it will be a tough competition for them in the 2nd leg of the game at Santiago Bernabeu. However, they will look to upset the Los Blancos at home.
