Real Madrid and PSG are reportedly interested in Ibrahima Konate. The two clubs are said to be keeping a close eye on Konate's contract situation at Anfield. As per the reports, Ibrahima's contract with Liverpool could end in 2026. The Reds were rumored to have a talk with the defender about the extension of his contract. However, the talks did not progress.
If what reports claim are to be believed, Ibrahima might have to leave the club for a free transfer in the upcoming summer rather than a 2026 release. Hence, RM and PSG are reportedly keeping an eye on the Frenchman’s move, whose value is estimated to be around 60 million Euros. Both Madrid and PSG have to seek Ibrahima.
In the last few seasons, Madrid's defense hasn't been the best it has been in years. The injuries of David Alaba and Eder Militao haven't helped their case either. With Antonio Rudiger aging, Madrid are looking for alternatives in the defensive unit. The case isn't much different in PSG, who are seeking a strong defensive player.

Will Real Madrid sign a contract with Alexander-Arnold?
However, it wouldn't be simple for Madrid and PSG to have talks with the Frenchman. They have to bypass Virgil Van Dijk's current situation. The Dutch's contract with Liverpool is also set to end this summer. If both agree to the extension of their contract, Liverpool might be willing to leave Ibrahima.
Apart from the 25-year-old, another Liverpool star is also eyed by Real Madrid. The La Liga club is reportedly set to sign a contract with Alexander-Arnold. While Arne Slot and Co. tried their best to convince their vice-captain, it wasn't fruitful. It might be a highly beneficial move for Real Madrid.
Arnold is one of the best-attacking full-backs in the world. In 349 games, the Englishman has 87 assists and 22 goals. He was instrumental in the Reds winning the UEFA Champions League. Madrid is also looking for a right-back following Dani Carvajal's injury.
