Chelsea FC will be hosting Manchester United on Thursday at the Stamford Bridge. The Blues are winless against United in the last 12 games, the current form of the home club is also very poor they are placed 12th in the league table with 8 points behind the Red Devils. Erik ten Hag's side are placed 6th in the table and fighting for the top 4 spot in order to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. 

Both teams bottled their lead in their last game with, Chelsea drawing 2-2 with Burnely, on other hand United was held by Brentford to a 1-1 draw. The two teams are desparate for a win, in order to keep their hopes alive for a place in the top 6. In the last 5 games the Blues are winless as they have lost 2 and drawn 3 games. The Red Devils will come as favourites to win the match and the fans will witness another breathtaking encounter between the two European Giants. 

United has an impressive historical record against Chelsea, having won 83 of the last 194 games between the two teams, compared to Chelsea's 55 wins. They won the reverse game against Chelsea last year and may win a Premier League double over the Blues for the first time since the 2019-20 season.

Rasmus Hojlund has been in good form in the 2024 season. The Denish striker since the beginning of the new year has been in red hot form he has scored 6 goals in the last six games he has featured for the club and he might come up troubling the Blues's defence. 

Both teams will not go all out for winning the game as Chelsea's current form has raised a question over their head coach Mauricio Pochhettino. The game might end in a draw or United can get edged past them.
