According to speculations, Chelsea is in advanced negotiations to sign Wolves winger Pedro Neto. In recent weeks, the Portuguese international has been widely connected with Manchester City and Tottenham, but Chelsea has surprised everyone by swooping in for him. According to sources, Chelsea and Wolves have already agreed on a fee of 60 million euros plus 3 million euros in add-ons for Neto.

Pedro Neto started last season on fire, with seven assists and one goal in his first ten Premier League appearances before suffering a hamstring injury. He failed to regain his previous form after returning, and he later sustained the same ailment again. He missed a total of 23 games due to injury last season.

If Chelsea manages to sign him in the transfer window we may see some players getting offboard in the upcoming transfer window. So, Let’s find out which player from Chelsea will get dropped from the team after the signing of Pedro Neto:

Three players who can get dropped from Chelsea squad:

1. Mykhailo Mudryk:

1Mykhailo

In January 2023, Mykhailo Mudryk moved from Shakhtar to Stamford Bridge for an incredible 88.5 million euors. The winger has only contributed four assists and seven goals in 58 games for the Blues. Shortly after returning from his vacation, Mudryk resumed his pre-season training with Chelsea in an attempt to impress new manager Enzo Maresca.

2. Raheem Sterling:

After moving from Manchester City for 47.5 million euros in 2022, Sterling hasn't been able to win over supporters, but he's motivated to try. The former Manchester City winger has a 2027 deal at Stamford Bridge. After Thiago Silva left for Brazil earlier this summer, Sterling who played for more than 300 minutes on the field during the tour—became an important player.

3. Noni Madueke:

Newcastle United is considering offering Noni Madueke of Chelsea a loan to purchase arrangement. The source claims that following Newcastle's disappointment at losing out on Michael Olise, who joined Bayern Munich earlier in the summer window, Madueke has become the team's top priority. The attacker joined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023 and has since made 46 appearances for the club in all competitions, tallying three assists and nine goals.
