In this week's exciting English Premier League London derby, Chelsea FC hosted Tottenham Hotspur at the Stamford Bridge. On Thursday night, two extremely erratic and chaotic forces will clash, yet goals are nearly always anticipated at Stamford Bridge because Chelsea has a deadly instinct on the opposite end of the pitch to make up for their lack of discipline on defense.
Pochettino's team has struggled recently to exhibit ruthlessness, but Tottenham's dismal away performances does not give the traveling supporters much hope either. But the hosts started the game on a bright note as they did not allow the visitors to settle in quite easily. They were also rewarded for their efforts as they were able to get the breakthrough. Trevor Chalobah was able to put his side ahead with a great header from a cross by Connor Gallagher.
Ange Postecoglou was furious on the sidelines as his side was getting dominated at Stamford Bridge in the first half. They have a lot to do if they want to salvage a win today and get the three points away from home.
How did the second half between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea FC pan out?
Tottenham Hotspur began the game on a good note and were able to create a fair few chances today. However the Chelsea defenders looked fearless and solid at the back as they wanted to get the three points against their London rivals. Tottenham were to blame themselves on most occasions in this game because of the kind of chances they missed.
A Cole Palmer free-kick struck the crossbar and it ended up nicely for Nicholas Jackson who finished the chances off with ease. The 2-0 lead was too much for the visitors and they were not able to do much throughout the game. With this loss, they might have ended their dreams of playing Champions League football next season. So as expected the Blues manager was able to triumph over his old team once more as Chelsea gets the Premier League double for the 10th time.

Huge win
This is the worst Chelsea side in recent memory and we still managed to do the double over Tottenham without breaking a sweat. Spurs really are a laughing stock.

This might be one of the first times this season where we've played well for a full 90 minutes this season. Hopefully can build upon this 🙏
