Manchester City earned a 3-3 draw against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals 1st leg. The Sky Blues started the match brilliantly by scoring in the 2nd minute of the game. But Madrid hit back by taking the lead and scoring two goals within the span of three minutes. In the 2nd half, Phil Foden's individual brilliance was brought back into his side, a few minutes later Joško Gvardiol scored a brilliant goal from outside the box to give the visitors the lead. Federico Valverde's volley in the 79th minute cancelled out the lead.

Pep Guardiola will be thinking about how can he make up for the errors of the game as his star striker Erling Haaland was just a mere spectator on the ground. During the match, Guardiola was spotted wearing a rare watch worth of £1.1m which is a 'Calibre RM27-01', and is designed by high-end brand Richard Mille and was specifically created for tennis great Rafael Nadal.

The luxurious watch is one of the most costliest ones and there are only 50 of them in the world. The watch is the largest mechanical watch of all time. It weighs just 18.83 grams, including the strap. Nadal and the Spanish head coach are two of those who claim to have the stunning piece of jewellery.

Guardiola not happy with Santiago Bernabeu's pitch

After the draw of the game, the 53-year-old Spanish coach complained regarding the pitch condition of Santiago Bernabeu. The former FC Barcelona coach has a lot of experience of stepping on the pitch as a player and coach during his time in La Liga. The issue raised by the manager came after his players felt discomfort on the pitch as mentioned 'carpet of the pitch' did not suit well for the Sky Blues well.

Pep will be looking to reassess the squad ahead of the 2nd leg, however, they have a fixture before that they will be playing Luton Town at the Etihad on Saturday in the Premier League. They are one point behind league leaders Arsenal and will like to win the game against Town.
