During the match against Imane Khelif Angela Carini of Italy had to quit the game as she was punched so hard in the face. After the match, she was seen weeping her tears in front of the camera and she stated that she was in pain after getting hit and had a fear of life if she played the full match. As she was declared a winner she got the crowd's support but Angel Carini refused to shake hands.

Piers Morgan, a TalkTV presenter with eight million followers, took to social media when an Italian boxer named Angela Carini felt obliged to withdraw from the Olympic Games after facing a biological male from Algeria named Imane Khelif. "I'm used to suffering. I've never taken a punch like that, it's impossible to continue. I'm nobody to say it's illegal," as per Daily Mail Angel Carini spoke to the media in tears.

The referee lifted Imane Khelif's arm, and Carini could be heard saying, "It's not right!" before turning around and leaving as Khelif attempted to embrace her. Then, the distressed loser started crying. The crowd was hushed, with some jeers. It didn't take long for Carini to realize why she was upset: Imane Khelif is not a biological woman.

International Boxing Association disqualified her from Women's World Championships

The International Boxing Association disqualified her from the most recent Women's World Championships due to her failure to satisfy the requirements for women's participation. In other words, the IBA determined she is not a woman, and its president, Umar Kremlev, told Russian news agency TASS that it has 'been verified' that Khelif has XY chromosomes, as opposed to women who have XX. This is a more nuanced scenario than the flood of ugly transgender controversies that have plagued women's sports in recent years.

Khelif has Swyer Syndrome, which means she has female reproductive organs but considerably greater testosterone levels than women.
