Sky Sports football expert Jamie Carragher is of the opinion that Manchester City holds the advantage over Arsenal in this season's Premier League title race. The two teams recently played a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Etihad, with John Stones scoring a dramatic 98th-minute equalizer to prevent Arsenal from securing all three points. City has clinched the title in the last four seasons, while Mikel Arteta’s men have been runners-up in the last two seasons.

Although Arsenal is the first team to take points off Pep Guardiola’s squad this season, City maintains a two-point lead after five games.

Jamie Carragher feels Manchester City is just Superior

Jamie Carragher praised Arsenal's prowess in taking Set Pieces and asserted that the side is one of the best in the business when it comes to that, but also hailed Manchester City to be a Little superior in everything. He was critical of the fact that Arsenal cannot rely on set Pieces to win every other game of the f Premier League. He felt that Manchester City players are a bit better when it comes to playmaking, finishing all overall qualities that show Arsenal.

"I just think they’ve got a little bit more, and if Arsenal had held on, it would have been a set-piece goal, and we know they’re amazing at set-pieces, we saw it last week, they won the game at Tottenham, but you can’t win the game on set-pieces every week." - he said

“Sometimes it’s got to [be down to] the quality of your players, or the finishing, I just think Manchester City have the edge there,” Carragher added on The Gary Neville podcast.

The Tale of a Decisive Draw

Manchester City made a strong start and took the lead within the first 10 minutes when Erling Haaland scored his 100th goal for the English champions in just 105 appearances.

However, an injury to Rodri changed the momentum of the game, leading to Arsenal equalizing shortly after with Gabriel Magalhaes's beautiful header, Arsenal then took the lead before having Leandro Trossard sent off, which shifted the dynamics of the match.

The second 45 minutes saw relentless pressure from Manchester City, with the ball rarely leaving the edge of the Arsenal penalty area. Despite several close calls, including saves from David Raya, City finally broke through in the 98th minute. John Stones capitalized on a chaotic sequence in the penalty area, tapping in a goal after a cross from Jack Grealish.
