In their final negotiations concerning signing Nicolò Zaniolo on loan along with a €17 million buyout option, Atalanta BC  and Galatasaray are nearing completion.

The forward had piqued the interest of both Fiorentina and Villarreal, but it became evident during the course of the penultimate day that he had decided to move to Bergamo. It will be a paid loan period plus an option to buy for a total of about €17 million, as reported by Sky Sport Italia and Calciomercato.com.

Additionally, there are a few requirements that would force the relocation to be permanent after the conclusion of the season. These are the specifics that are currently being narrowed down; if he shows up in 70% of Atalanta's competitive games this season, it might be triggered.

Zaniolo, who turned 25 today, was forced to leave himself from the Italy team for UEFA Euro 2024 because of a fractured metatarsal. That injury was incurred while he was on loan at Aston Villa, an English club who declined to exercise their option to purchase.

The Azzurri player, who spent €15 million to leave Roma for Galatasaray in February 2023, has been putting a lot of effort into getting back to Serie A.

Atalanta’s Tenu Koopmeiners is a priority for Juventus

Teun Koopmeiners, an Atlanta midfielder, is still Juventus' top transfer priority. The team is reportedly moving to formally complete the midfielder's transfer. In order to raise additional money and conclude the deal with Atalanta in the upcoming weeks, Juventus is looking to sell some players.

Teun is important to Thiago Motta, the new head coach of the Bianconerri, given the vision he has for the team. The 26-year-old Dutch midfielder and the Turin team had reportedly already reached an agreement on a five-year contract. He will be paid 4.5 million euros a year. According to Transfermarkt, the Dutchman's current deal with Atalanta runs until June 2027, and his assessed worth is 40 million euros.
