Newcastle United's pursuit of the English defender Fikayo Tomori appears to have ended when AC Milan placed a price tag of €40 million on the player, barring a possible deal. The club's PSR problems were brought up in an article by The Guardian concerning Arsenal and Chelsea's pursuit of Alexander Isak, a striker for Newcastle.

The Premier League team believes they can remain within the regulations without offloading Isak or Brazilian player Bruno Guimaraes, although it is undoubtedly limiting their spending power because Fikayo Tomori has a €40 million price tag which is deemed to be too high as of now.

There is no reason to believe that the two clubs can come to an amicable agreement because Milan has no intention of actively selling the player. The scenario might be different if Newcastle sold someone for a high price since they could then have more room to spend while still adhering to the regulations. They seem genuinely interested in Tomori.

AC Milan wants to strengthen their defense rather than weaken it because they need to replace Simon Kjaer and have greater quality depth to stave off injuries, which many players in the team seem to be prone to.

Chelsea forward keen on signing with AC Milan during the summer

According to a source, Armando Broja intends to leave Chelsea during the summer and is considering a move to AC Milan. According to reports, Broja is eager to leave the Premier League and would prefer to gain experience overseas. This occurs following a few seasons in which he battled ailments and a lack of playing time.

AC Milan is interested in the Chelsea forward as a replacement for Joshua Zirkzee, with whom they are still at odds about commissions with his agency Kia Joorabchian. Manchester United is also trying to oust him and are currently leading the race to sign the Dutch forward, who is currently competing in the UEFA Euro 2024
