Tottenham Hotspurs will be hosting Manchester City on Tuesday at White Hart Lane. With their UEFA Champions League qualification on line, the North London side have a good record against the defending champions at home. Ange Postecoglou's side are yet to lose a game at home since 2018. The Sky Blues are already competing for the title race and will look to win the game in order to be the favourites before the final day of the English Premier League.

Along with Manchester, Arsenal are also in the race of the PL, as the Gunners are a point ahead with a game more played than City. However they will want to lose the reigning champions against their city rivals and all the Gunners fans will be suporting Spurs for the game so that they get a chance of winning the league after 20 years. Ahead of the important clash former Gunners footballer Mesut Ozil has tweeted wishing well the Spurs team.

The former German footballer was one of the finest creative midfielder of all time, with his prolific ability to create chances and score goals as well. He was a legend at the club, appeared in 254 games for the club scoring 44 goals and assisting 75 times. He joined in 2013 and played eight seasons with the North London side and have been the part of memorable North London derbies as well.

Ozil makes funny banter against Spurs

He said, "First time ever tonight: COME ON YOU SPURSSS!! If Tottenham don't lose this game I will never make fun of them again... I promise." The footballer ended the trophy drought for the club in his first season winning the FA Cup and made it consecutive win in the very next season. The 35-year-old ended his third season at the club with 8 goals and 20 assists in all club competitions, and made him the leading assister in the 2015-2016 season, for which he won him the Arsenal Player of the Season award.

Ozil was the crucial part of Germany in the FIFA World Cup 2014 that won the World Cup beating Argentina in the final. But after the group stage exit in 2018 he faced several backlashes and was pointed about his religion and also faced racial comments as well and he retired from international football after the 2018 marquee tournament.
