Marcus Rashford has stepped up his attempts to leave Manchester United after his most recent rejection. The forward admitted last month that he is ready for a fresh challenge after playing at Old Trafford his whole career.
Given that Rashford had just lost his place on his team to Ruben Amorim, his future at United does seem dubious. Since Amorim came through the door, the England international hasn't played for the Red Devils regularly. The Portuguese coach has given the excuse that he isn't playing because of "training."
Rashford last appeared for United on December 12th, when he played 56 minutes against Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League. Rashford was welcomed back into the United lineup against Newcastle United earlier this week after missing a stint, although he did not play off the bench. But manager Ruben Amorim said before the game that the major reason was that he didn't have enough players since Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte were banned.
While Rashford has hinted about his transfer rumours as he will stay with the club. He wrote, "Happy New Year," with a picture of himself sitting on a couch with a framed Manchester United jersey behind him. I hope 2025 brings you all joy.

Manchester United looking for other options
One of United's major targets is Nuno Mendes. They would be open to selling Rashford during this transfer window in order to help their new manager get the left-back. Mendes would like to get back together with his fellow Portuguese manager at Sporting Lisbon.
It will be intriguing to see if Rashford leaves during the January transfer window, but it's obvious that he's becoming weary of the current rumours around him. Being in this difficult situation must be extremely disheartening for Rashford, who has progressed through the academy of his childhood club.
