Midfielder Casemiro is a strong candidate for departure, while Marcus Rashford, currently on loan at Aston Villa, is likely to leave permanently. Forwards Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee also face pivotal decisions regarding their futures.

In a recent interview, Ruben Amorim asserted that he takes a no-nonsense approach as a coach when dealing with anything or anyone that jeopardizes his team. He revealed that certain players at United are already aware that they will need to depart the club. Amorim emphasized his commitment to being candid with his players, noting that some have recognized that they will need to move on at the end of the season. He acknowledges that there is significant potential for improvement within his United squad.

"If the team is trying, and I understand that they are trying but they cannot do it, I am not ruthless. But when I feel that it is something which is going to harm the team, then I am quite ruthless," Amorim said.

"In the beginning maybe it is hard but they will understand. I'm quite honest with my players and sometimes they know they have to move on at the end of the season. We can talk about that in the end - now there are still a lot of games to play. But that is clear and not a difficult situation," Amorim added.

Despite their challenges this season, United still has a strong chance to secure silverware. On Sunday, Amroim's team will face Fulham in the FA Cup, and they are fully prepared to make their mark. Additionally, they have advanced to the knockout phase of the Europa League, where they are set to take on Real Sociedad.
