Germany's team for their two UEFA Nations League matches during the September international break has been revealed by the DFB. Leroy Sané as well as Antonio Rüdiger are the only ones not present because they are still working on getting in shape at their respective clubs.

With the exception of them, the team remains largely unchanged from Germany's EURO 2024 campaign, in which they were eliminated by eventual victors Spain in the quarterfinals. Since the defeat in Stuttgart, there have undoubtedly been retirements from Toni Kroos, Ilkay Gündogan, Thomas Müller, and Manuel Neuer. One of players who may reduce the effects of Kroos' retirement is Angelo Stiller of VfB Stuttgart, who is the sole rookie on the team.
