According to reports that the Colombian star has become a transfer target for Saudi Pro League team Al-Nassr after playing a pivotal role in their Premier League success this past season. While Barcelona has also shown interest in Diaz, sources indicate that the Saudi club is gearing up to pursue his acquisition as they look to enhance their squad for the 2025-26 season.

Diaz still has two years remaining on the contract he signed upon joining Liverpool from Porto in 2022. However, there has been no advancement in discussions regarding a new agreement. As a result, the Reds may consider selling him at a favourable price this summer, which would also assist them in financing an ambitious club record transfer for Wirtz.

Despite the ongoing transfer saga surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo, the club remains committed to scouting new players, irrespective of whether the five-time Ballon d’Or winner decides to stay or leave. While some believe Ronaldo could sign a new contract with Al-Nassr, others speculate that he might prefer a short-term move to a team competing in the Club World Cup.

The Saudi Pro League club is also in pursuit of Chelsea star Moises Caicedo, who started in the Blues' Conference League exploits this season.
