Trent Alexander Arnold for Liverpool

Liverpool are reportedly considering making Trent Alexander-Arnold the highest-paid England player in the Premier League. In recent weeks, multiple sources have suggested that the talented right-back is interested in a move to Real Madrid to join his international teammate, Jude Bellingham, for the upcoming season. The right-back has already declined multiple offers from his boyhood club this season.

"I'd say win a Ballon d'Or, because I believe I can. I want to be the first full-back to ever do it." Trent said in a recent interview.

Reds fans are understandably concerned about the potential departure of key players, especially with Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk also having just over six months remaining on their contracts. This situation has heightened anxieties surrounding their future with the club.

However, Graeme Bailey reports that the Anfield management is actively engaging in negotiations and is committed to making the 26-year-old the highest-paid England player in the Premier League, aligning his wages with those of Salah.

An article published in TBR Football indicates that the executives at Liverpool remain optimistic regarding the likelihood of Trent Alexander-Arnold signing a new contract with his childhood club, particularly as he is an admirer of Arne Slot's style of play.

The upcoming weeks are pivotal for Liverpool as the organization seeks to secure agreements with three of its most prominent players. It is understood that beginning in January, these players will have the opportunity to engage in discussions with foreign clubs concerning potential transfers for the next summer.

Real Madrid is leading the heart of the clubs who are in pursuit of signing the English fullback. With Los Blancos losing their full-back Dani Carvajal to an unfortunate ACL injury that ruled him out for the entire season, Madrid seems stern to sign the best available full-back in the market.
