Alphonso Davies to go to Liverpool
Liverpool has reportedly shown interest in acquiring Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies. While Andy Robertson has made commendable progress under the current management, questions linger regarding his ability to return to the exceptional form that contributed significantly to the team's success under Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool joins the race to sign Canadian star
Under Arne Slot, the Reds have made an impressive start to the season, currently leading both the Premier League and UEFA Champions League tables, where they have already secured a spot in the last 16.
The Athletic is now reporting that Liverpool's management has expressed their interest in Canadian international Davies, a claim supported by multiple industry sources.
They characterise a move to the Premier League for the 24-year-old as his most likely destination, although senior sources at Liverpool have reportedly denied any interest in the defender.

Kostas Tsimikas has demonstrated strong performances when stepping in for the Scotland captain, showcasing his potential. However, due to his current injury, he may have challenges in securing a first-choice position in the long run.
Additionally, it has been reported that top clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea have expressed interest in Davies. Despite this, Bayern is optimistic about their chances of persuading him to sign a new contract at the Allianz.
"Has the deal with Real Madrid been finalized? That’s not true; it’s a lie," Alphonso Davies's agent stated earlier in November when rumours that the Canadian was linked with a transfer to Santiago Bernabeu in La Liga.
