Leicester City look to sign former Manchester United striker as new manager

Leicester City is only three points above the drop zone and is still in the thick of a relegation battle. As the winter window approaches, Steve Cooper's employment is in jeopardy, and Ruud Van Nistelrooy was suggested as a potential replacement.

Near the bottom of the Premier League, the King Power team sits atop their own small mini-league. Because this season's objective is to survive in the Premier League, the board approved many moves to help Steve Cooper and has assembled a first-team roster that is generally strong and has some depth. The Welshman has only won twice, so he hasn't been bad, but he hasn't been outstanding either.

However, a change in coaching will be necessary if Leicester wants to start a renewal and develop both defensively, which is our biggest problem, and creatively. While the head coach has helped specific individuals, We haven't seen anything from Steve Cooper that indicates he could bring the best out of all of our players, nor have I noticed a particularly striking style of play.

Would Ruud van Nistelrooy take up the Leicester City job?

The most recent rumors that are circulating come into focus at that point. For a while now, there have been rumors that Cooper would be fired if the team's performance doesn't improve. The head coach was given free reign to implement his values and style.  That hardly qualifies as a stellar collection of outcomes given the two victories. Thus, the Foxes could decide to take a chance.

Graham Potter, David Moyes, Jose Mourinho, Erik Ten Hag, as well as the most recent addition, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, are among the managers who are now on the market and selling themselves to other teams. Any change should be made prior to the January transfer window.

An intriguing choice for Leicester City is Nistelrooy. A previous great striker who was trained by Sir Alex Ferguson, played under his tutelage, led the flawless and youth-focused PSV Eindhoven, and had a huge reputation to build on.
