Former Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe posted a heartfelt message after the club's maiden UEFA Champions League victory. The French striker switched from PSG to La Liga giants Real Madrid in 2024.
Paris Saint-Germain humiliated Inter Milan 5-0 in the finals of the UCL at the Allianz Arena. The victory brought a sense of satisfaction to not just the current players and club fans but also to all the former stars of PSG.

Paris Saint-Germain defeated Inter Milan 5-0 to secure the European title. Teenager Desire Doue scored two goals, while Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Senny Mayulu contributed one goal each.
PSG has completed the treble in their first season without Mbappe, who transferred to Real Madrid on a free transfer following their European triumph the previous year. The France captain expressed satisfaction at seeing his former team achieve their goals.
"The big day has finally arrived. Victory, and in club style. Congratulations, PSG." Mbappe wrote on Instagram.
As PSG rejoices over a complete haul of trophies, Mbappe did not secure any silverware during his inaugural season in Real Madrid. However, he did earn the Pichichi by finishing as the top scorer in La Liga.
This summer, the two teams will be vying for yet another accolade, as the Club World Cup is set to begin in two weeks.
“Everyone’s talking about the Ballon d’Or, I would give it to Ousmane Dembele. Just because of, if we think about how he defended today. He showed just what he was made of. He was a leader, he was humble, he defended. Without a shadow of a doubt, he deserves this. Not just for the goals that he’s scored but also for the pressing we saw. We’ve seen such a season from him and he was exceptional,” Luis Enrique said.
