Achraf Hakimi recently weighed in on the ongoing debate about the Greatest of All Time, choosing between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. After describing his ideal footballer by incorporating traits from both superstars, the Moroccan right-back ultimately declared the Portuguese icon as the best of all time.
In a recent interaction shared by Madrid Xtra on X, Hakimi was invited to construct his perfect footballer and readily answered the questions presented to him.

Achraf Hakimi shared his 'Goat'
The Paris Saint-Germain star designated Messi for his left foot, Ronaldo for his right foot, and chose himself for speed. He selected Sergio Ramos, Kylian Mbappe, and Isco based on their physicality, dribbling, and intelligence, respectively. After constructing his ideal player, Hakimi was asked to identify his greatest of all time (GOAT), to which he responded with Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 26-year-old Moroccan is one of the few players who have played alongside both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Hakimi teamed up with Cristiano Ronaldo during his time at Real Madrid and then shared the pitch with Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain.
Notably, Hakimi was part of the UEFA Champions League winning squad in 2017 alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. He played two seasons alongside Lionel Messi and also assisted one of his goals.
The goat debate between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi often divides the world into two parts; however, it's undeniable that both footballers are sure to go down as the best in the history of the sport. Achraf Hakimi will feature in PSG's Champions League first leg quarter-finals clash against English side Aston Villa on 10th April 2025 at Parc Des Princes.
