There have been rumours circulating all summer long that Kylian Mbappe and his old team, Paris Saint-Germain, are at conflict about unpaid salaries. According to reports, the sum he is entitled to is €55 million.

There has been an effort to achieve a resolution after Mbappe's mother and agent, Fayza Lamari, warned PSG with legal proceedings if they failed to deliver the money. According to L'Equipe, the two sides will appear before the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) legal panel on September 11, which is next Wednesday.

During the pre-match press conference, France skipper Kylian Mbappe said, “It’s going very well with Real Madrid. We’ve already won a trophy. Issues with PSG on salary? I’ve only positive things to say about PSG, I wish them all the best.”

In an effort to expedite the process, Mbappe and his agents approached the LFP's legal commission. They are adamant about receiving the money that is due. Mbappe's last game with France over this international break is just two days before he is expected back at Real Madrid to get ready on the eleventh

“He said he would give his all until the end of his contract” : Warren Zaire Emery

This past summer transfer window saw Kylian Mbappé depart Paris Saint-Germain in order to sign a free agency contract with Real Madrid, ending the Frenchman's ordeal. Even yet, the players within the locker room were aware of the news, even though it was made late in the 2023–24 campaign.

Warren Zaire Emery said, “He said he would give his all until the end of his contract, and I think that’s exactly what he did. It didn’t really bother us, although of course, when you have one of the best players in the world, you’d want to keep him at your club. He’s someone I really like and he’s a great person. You can see on the field that he’s obsessed with scoring, assisting, and making things happen. I need to follow his example in that regard.”
