Kyle Walker faces divorce threats following his transfer to AC Milan

Annie Kilner is likely to proceed with her divorce from Kyle Walker, despite recent signs of reconciliation as the couple moves to Italy for Walker's loan to AC Milan. 

While their relocation may provide an opportunity for them to reconnect and strengthen their relationship, reports from The Sun suggest that Kilner’s primary motivation for the move is to ensure a stable upbringing for their four sons. Reconciliation remains a possibility, especially as they spend more time together in Italy.

Kyle Walker's Sex Scandal 

Walker's personal life imploded at Christmas 2023 when Lauryn Goodman revealed to his wife, Kilner, who was pregnant at the time, that he had fathered a second child. This revelation came after Walker had already fathered his first son with Goodman in 2021 during a brief separation from Kilner, his childhood sweetheart, following an earlier sex scandal.

Walker and Kilner eventually reached a point of reconciliation before the situation involving Goodman arose. Although Walker left the family home for a second time and Kilner filed for divorce, their relationship seemed to improve when they chose to spend Christmas together in 2024. However, with Goodman reportedly upset about Walker's relocation to Italy, it seems that restoring their relationship to its previous state may be quite challenging.

Will Kilner reconcile with Kyle?

An insider shared with The Sun that Annie has decided to move to Italy primarily for her family. This transition is part of her desire to distance herself from the ongoing noise in the UK surrounding Kyle's sex scandal with Lauryn. 

"Annie has made it clear to friends she is making the move to Italy for the sake of her family, telling them, 'I'm doing it for the boys'. Getting away from the UK and the noise surrounding Kyle's sex scandals and drama with Lauryn is what they desperately need. They feel smothered," said the insider.

"It’s been a traumatic 12 months and they now just want to put it behind them and attempt to lead some sort of normal existence for a while. Annie is still intent on going through with the divorce, which Kyle won't oppose, but the longer they remain together, the more chance they have of eventually reconciling against the odds." Insider added.

Walker's loan at Milan is set to last only until the end of the season, and he will likely need to wait for his debut while his work permit is processed. However, the early indications are strong that the Serie A giants will exercise their option to secure a permanent transfer by summer.
